My name is Gina Evangelista, and I created Flourish Educational Services to provide parents with the tools needed to homeschool in the state of Florida. As a homeschool mother and a Florida Certified Professional Educator, I bring my personal and professional experience to offer you services that will assist and support you through your homeschooling journey.

My Story

Homeschooling was not something I planned to do. I didn’t even know it was an option. When my daughter was about to start kindergarten, I researched schools in my area and they didn’t offer what I was looking for, in terms of academics and safety. Luckily, I found out about homeschooling from another mom, so I started researching it and soon after I was homeschooling my daughter and later my son.

Homeschooling gave us the freedom to learn at our own pace, to choose our own curriculum, to set our own schedule, and so much more. I like to refer to homeschooling as worldschooling or lifeschooling because homeschoolers are not at home learning all the time. That is a small piece of it, especially in the younger years. We were often out learning with other families in parks, going out on field trips, getting together, meeting with professionals, volunteering, exercising, and so much more. Homeschooling has many benefits, and it is an amazing educational and life experience for the whole family.

Today, my reasons to homeschool are not only for academic and safety-related reasons but so much more. I want to share with you what I have learned and make your homeschooling experience one that you and your kids will remember and appreciate for years to come.

” We are so grateful for Ms. Gina! She was extremely helpful and offered a lot of great information. She helped put our minds at ease with all of the questions we had as we were first year homeschoolers. Our 4th grader is usually shy when meeting new people and being asked questions, yet he was so comfortable with the evaluation he responded quickly and with detail. We were very impressed with the entire process and truly recommend Ms. Gina and will continue to have her as part of our homeschooling team. Thank you Ms. Gina! ” – The Perry Family
