Bio: Hello! I’m Sofia, a college freshman at the University of Florida majoring in Dietetics. I love learning and have special interests in math, science, grammar, writing, and foreign languages. I am bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, and I have studied the French language in depth. Some of my hobbies/interests include composing music, writing poetry, studying fashion, researching about health, practicing barre or yoga, and playing chess. I also love kids, and I love teaching, so tutoring grades K to 5 is my passion. I tutor students through virtual sessions from my campus. I am looking forward to meeting you and your student!

  • Volunteered helping elementary students in math and reading. 
  • Volunteered helping elementary students at a chess club
  • Aerial yoga instructor for kids ages 5 to 13
  • Private chess tutor to kids ages 5 to 13
  • Scored in 99th percentile on the SAT 
  • AP Scholar with Distinction
  • Awarded Silver Medal from Le Grand Concours (National French contest)
